Goodwill joins Fort Atkinson Chamber

Goodwill of South-Central Wisconsin (SCWI) is delighted to deepen its relationship with the Fort Atkinson community through membership in the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce. Goodwill Fort Atkinson’s retail and donation center is located at 1530 Madison Ave. The store is one of 12 locations in the 14-county region that Goodwill SCWI serves, bringing Goodwill’s signature combination of thrift, community partnership and employment. The Fort Atkinson store employs between 20 and 30 people in full- and part-time positions. Goodwill SCWI is a local nonprofit. When someone donates to their local store, their donation typically gets resold in that location or within the Goodwill SCWI region. Each region is an independent 501c3 organization. Proceeds from stores and donation centers support workforce development for people with barriers to employment. The Fort Atkinson Goodwill is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Customers also are welcome to call (920) 563-8950 or visit for additional information.
