SJB Student Council

The Student Council at St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Jefferson has been off to a busy start. The eighth-grade class officers lead each meeting under the guidance of teacher Margie Schels. The officers for this school year are: Isaac Booth (President), Ella Dehnert (Vice President), Maryam Perez-Hernandez (Secretary), and Brady Gehring (Treasurer). Classroom representatives include: Charlotte Uhlman (first), Max Warpinski (second), Natalie Weber (third), Ryder Brusk (fourth), Colin Gotto (fifth), Kashton Brusk (sixth), and Lily Whitstone (seventh). Officers and representatives plan special events such as: activities for National Catholic Schools Week, Dress-Down Days, Principal Appreciation Day, Secretary’s Day, Father Tom’s birthday, food drives, Christmas and thank-you cards for staff, choosing themes for Advent and Lent, and discussions concerning questions and requests from students.
