Halloween is fast approaching!

Trunk or Treat again will be held at Jones Park in Fort Atkinson on Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Set-up and take-down will be from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Concessions will be offered by the Fort Atkinson Generals, and radio music will be played.

One end of the parking lot will be manned by the Fort Atkinson Fire Department and the other by the Fort Atkinson Police Department. If there are a lot of participants, a walkway through the walking path next to the reservoir/stage area to Grove Street might be offered; otherwise, it will just be the parking lot off of Park Street and the other off of South 6th and Milo streets.

The Jameway avenue lot across from Jones Dairy Farm will be used for parking. If there is severe inclement weather, the Fort Atkinson High School commons has been reserved as the alternative site.

Persons should fill out a survey to register. Those not in charge of an organization should forward the survey to whomever is in charge.

Those who think their table/trunk might be too scary for little children should let organizer Jude Hartwick know, as the scarier participants can be placed in the darker areas.

The following survey link for Trunk or Treat will let people sign up to hand out candy on Halloween for the event: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CPDWXC9

Contact Hartwick for further information or with questions at (920) 568-0626.
