FARMINGTON - The Farmington All-Stars 4-H Club met June 7 at the Farmington town hall.
First, we talked about Jefferson County Fair rule changes and set-up.
In new business, the club voted to move the club's traditional August picnic to September 13, because the August meeting date would conflict with the state fair and some of our members are going.
The club is still collecting donations for June Dairy Month at various businesses around the area. In July, we'll turn in our donations and take them to the Johnson Creek Food Pantry to go toward supplying dairy items for local families in need.
Upcoming events include the Watertown Dairy Breakfast June 18 and 19 at Crave Brothers Farm in Waterloo; the fair picnic, at a campsite to be announced, on Friday, July 15; and the club picnic Sept. 13 at Farmington Fields.
The next meeting will take place July 15th. Members should bring their June dairy month collections.
