WATERTOWN — The Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin and Lake Mills Cleaners are partnering to collect and clean gently used winter coats to distribute to families in need.

Donations to the annual Koats for Kids program may be dropped off from now through Friday, Nov. 2, at any of the following locations:

Lake Mills Cleaners, 804 N. Main St., Lake Mills; CAC Office, 114 E. Main St., Watertown; Cambridge Ace Hardware, 200 Commerce Road, Cambridge; Goyer Ace Hardware, 10 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson; Towne Cinema, 308 E. Main St., Watertown; Neitzel’s Do It Best, 305 W. Madison St., Waterloo; Casey’s General Store, 507 S. Main St., Jefferson; and Mitlin’s Corner, 403 South St., Johnson Creek.

Distribution will take place at the Community Action Coalition’s Jefferson County location in Watertown at 114 E. Main St. on Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 19-21.

“Lake Mills Cleaners has been a longtime partner and very generous donor of their services with Koats for Kids for many years,” said Jeanette Petts, program leader for the CAC’s Jefferson and Waukesha County Division. “The CAC is very thankful for their involvement in this event that benefits low income families in Jefferson County.”
