JEFFERSON — The new principal for Sullivan Elementary School will be familiar face to many in the district.

Nicole “Nikki” Krause is a former teacher at the school for several years, having taught first-grade, second-grade and multi-age classrooms.

Most recently, she had been a classroom teacher at Kettle Moraine Elementary.

Krause will replace Nick Skretta, who was tabbed to serve as Jefferson Middle School principal after serving as Sullivan Elementary principal for three years.

The School District of Jefferson Board of Education made the decision following discussion in closed session Monday night.

Also on the agenda during the closed session meeting was the potential purchase of a piece of property.

Mark Rollefson, superintendent of the Jefferson schools, said that the board did discuss this matter but did not take any action following the closed session meeting.
