MENOMONEE FALLS — Robert D. Francisco passed away peacefully at home on June 21, 2019, at the age of 87.

He was born on May 26, 1932, in Fort Atkinson, and married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Feller of Fort Atkinson, on June 12, 1954.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and led a full life enjoying time with his wife, RV camping, amateur “ham” radio, working on his family tree and electronics. He and his wife did everything together, enjoying gardening, crafts, weekly rummage sale hunting and travel.

Robert and Nancy moved to Milwaukee in 1957 and to Menomonee Falls in 1963.

He enjoyed a long work career at Allis Chalmers as an electronics engineer before retiring. After retirement they enjoyed RVing to Texas for the winter months, and spending time with family and friends.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy; two children, Lori and Robert; six grandchildren, Christopher, Ashleigh (Brandon), Zach (Sabrina), Mackenzie, Emily (Jake) and Macy; and four great-grandchildren, Alayna, Hayden, Lilliana and Oliver, with two more great-grandchildren due in the following months.
