Shirley Ann Hathaway

CAMBRIDGE — Shirley Ann Hathaway, 80, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Shirley was born on Aug. 16, 1938, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Marko) Arndt and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1956.

She married Duane Hathaway in Fort Atkinson on May 28, 1960.

Shirley worked for her parents’ bakery while growing up and later worked as a medical records librarian at the Fort Memorial Hospital.

Shirley was a sports fan who enjoyed watching the Badgers, Brewers and Packers.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Duane of Cambridge; children, Brian (Janet) Hathaway of Watertown, Wanda (significant other Mark Ward) Hathaway of Deerfield and Judy (Mark) Schuppel of Michigan; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Charlotte “Cookie” (Bill) Ness of California and Charlene Arndt Reuter of Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson.
