Thirteen area players were honored by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association in all-district voting held recently.
Jefferson senior Aidyn Messmann, freshman Aeryn Messmann and senior Savannah Serdynski along with Cambridge sophomore Saveea Freeland and Lake Mills senior Tessa Kottwitz were first-team selections for medium-sized schools in District 3.
Jefferson sophomore Lily Fairfield and freshman Hildie Dempsey as well as Lakeside Lutheran senior Nora Statz, Lake Mills junior Belle Topel and Cambridge senior Emma Nottestad were honorable mention recipients.
Fort Atkinson senior Alex Theriault was an honorable mention selection in District 3 for the large schools.
Johnson Creek senior Lexi Swanson garnered first-team honors in District 4 for small schools and junior teammate Josey Whitehouse was voted to the honorable mention team.
