ALBION — Jefferson fell on the wrong side of a 26-run game, losing to Albion, 15-11, in a Sunday League Home Talent game Sunday Afternoon in Albion.
Roby Schlesner drove in four runs to lead the Blue Devil offense. Schlesner collected two hits, both of which were triples. He also scored twice.
Dylan Ott, Andy Brahier and Thomas Schlesner all batted in two runs for the Blue Devils. Ott, the leadoff hitter, recorded two hits and touched home twice. Brahier and Thomas Schlesner also had two hits.
As a team, Jefferson amassed 14 hits in the losing effort.
Adam Gregory led the Albion attack with five RBIs.
The Tigers big innings came in the second and fifth. Albion plated five runs in second and seven in the fifth.
Jefferson scored two runs in the first and added another run in the second. The Blue Devils got multi-run innings in the third (two), sixth (three) and ninth (two).
Albion’s Jake Zeimet picked up the win on the mound. He battled through eight innings, allowing 13 hits and nine runs, seven of which were earned. He struck out three batters.
Jefferson (4-2) will play next Sunday at Waterloo at 1 p.m.
