JEFFERSON — The Jefferson/Cambridge girls swim team defeated Delavan-Darien 120-46 in a Southern Lakes Conference dual meet on Tuesday.

In the 200-yard medley relay, J/C sophomores Jordyn Davis, Zoey Rank, Jada Rank and junior Emma Riedl took first with a time of 1 minute, 59.95 seconds.

Rank took first in the individual 200-yard medley with a time of 2:16.17 and won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:10.20.

In the 50-yard freestyle, Riedl took first with a time of 27.22 seconds. In the 100-yard freestyle, Riedl (1:01.20), beat out junior teammate Alexandria Ostopowicz (1:04.66) for first.

Davis, with a time of 1:02.70, won the 100-yard butterfly. Also, in the 100-yard backstroke, Davis claimed first with a time of 1:02.29.

Jada Rank finished a full minute ahead of the pack in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:52.39.

Barely beating out Delavan-Darien (2:01.39), Ostopowicz, sophomore Alexis Dobson, sophomore Emma Gehring and junior Emma Hellberg swam a time of 2:00.94, claiming first in the 200-yard freestyle relay. In the final leg of the relay, the White Sharks swam 10 seconds faster than Delavan-Darien.
